Emma May Elliot

was from Fayetteville, North Carolina, she attended the Yale School of Music from 1919 to 1920.

Biography
Emma May Elliot was born in 1898 to William J. Elliot, a barber, and Mary Kelly Elliot in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She attended the Yale School of Music from 1919 to 1920, living with her uncle and aunt at 103 Country Street and attended St Luke’s Episcopal Church.

She returned home and taught at Southside High School. The 1930 census reported that she continued to teach in Fayetteville. According to the 1940 census, the last known record of her, Elliot lodged with a principal and three other teachers in Nashville, North Carolina.
