Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, NC.

Hello fellow Alumni,
I am a historian (and alumni) at FayState. Ms. St. Leone is the Archive Tech (&alumni) at the Chesnutt Library archives and special collections.

If you are a descendant of one of our seven founders we are looking for images, documents, oral history/family history to expand our understanding and collections of these men and their families, in the archives.

We are not looking to keep anything (unless you would like to donate) you may have but would love to scan and document materials related to our Seven; Matthew Leary, Jr., George Grange, Sr., Robert Simmons, Nelson Carter, Andrew J. Chesnutt, Thomas Lomax, David A. Bryant.
