"The Alston-Massenburg Cemetery is a historic cemetery that contains a modest amount of graves with some dating back over a hundred years. Due to it's age, the cemetery has faced the woes of weathering and overgrowth, exacerbating the current condition of the cemetery.

Aside from the weathering and overgrowth, the cemetery also has a plethora of unmarked graves. These conditions only bolster the importance of preserving the cemetery, and one should feel encouraged to assist in helping keep the cemetery in the best condition possible. Benefit from all that the cemetery has to offer, but also be mindful of those who lie here, honoring their final resting place. "
