Students learn how to fly directly from Mr. Warren Wheeler, who established Wheeler Flying Service (Wheeler Airlines), the first African American owned and operated air service in the United States. You can learn more about Warren, and Warren Airlines, in the Ebony, April 1976 article that is shared in our photo album.

Airolina Young Aviators (AYA) provides training for youth to become pilots. The training experience provided would cost in excess of $250k. Airolina provides this opportunity to youth ages 14-19 at no cost. Please help this most worth organization to thrive and continue to offer flight training, purchase fuel and airspace, maintain our flight simulator in state-of-the-art condition and provide all the support services needed to help students achieve their goal.

To donate, go to our website at airolina.org, contact us, or join us for our 2nd annual fundraiser, featuring talented area blues artists, our "Pass It On" CD, and a screening of the documentaries Piedmont Airlines and Tuskegee Airmen. RSVP here & invite your friends:
